Three Different Options
Our team offers patients three different selections. The most common is a mild form known as nitrous oxide. If you need a deeper calm, we could offer oral conscious sedation, taken in the form of a pill or liquid prior to the procedure. You reach a deep state of calm, with little to no memory of the process at all. You may feel a bit groggy afterward and need someone to bring you home.
The deepest form is IV sedation, which is handled intravenously and offers a sleep-like state, essential for the more extensive oral surgeries or if you have serious anxiety about the process. You will be minted carefully by a trained anesthesiologist, and the effects take time to wear off once again, you need someone available to take you home afterward.
